I'm using the gdata library for java provided by Google. In particular I'm working on the Google Calendar lib, following the guide:
https://developers.google.com/google-apps/calendar/v2/developers_guide_java#RetrievingDateRange
Using Google Calendar, it is possible to add other calendars, for example about holydays, football and so on. The guide shows how to get events about your calendar but not about all calendars saved.
How can I do it? It is weird because getting user events it returns a list of Entry about Events, but getting all events it returns a list of Entries about Calendars (applying more or less the same code)
Thank you in advance.
Finally I found an answer. I'll publish the link for who is interested.

I know there is some way to create a feed of calendar events that users can add to their calendars and have new events be automatically added to their calendars. I don't know the name of the technology used and searching wasn't bringing up much.
What is the technology used for creating these calendar feeds?
Found the thing I was looking for. It's called CalDav and uses the iCal format for data.
Some more info on Wikipedia.
I need a Calendar UI for my website that will take in an ical feed from the user's Google Calendar. I know I can use the embed code but the look and feel of the embed Google Calendar is horrible. I am hoping to find a library that has a better UI than the embed Google Calendar.
Try using the UI Calendar using AngularJS to handle your calendar frontend.
You may also check FullCalendar which is customizable and open source.
If you're not satisfied with any of the libraries/projects available online, you can always start a new one. Hope that helps.
I am working on a Windows 8 app which is using Google Calendar API V3.
Until last week, I was able to add and retrieve events of my agenda directly from this App.
But, for no reason, the Google Calendar API doesn't send me anymore new events and events that I've added recently in my agenda even if I add an event directly from the Google Calendar website. Hovewer, I still receive old events.
I use this request : https://developers.google.com/google-apps/calendar/v3/reference/events/list and get the same result in their generator and in my apps.
Does someone have an idea of what is going on ?
Thanks ! :)
I think,it is related to pagination issue once try to set maxResults parameter or use pageToken parameter
Please check the calendar permissions first.
We're looking for a standalone (non-cms) calendaring solution to display on the web. It could be open source or a paid service.
We're primarily looking for a way to display a calendar on the web complete with when the events are and what the names of the events are. It would be great if it can display in different views like by week, month, year. Month view would be the most important one. We want to keep it as simple as possible. We mainly just want users to view the calendar. The events do not even have to be editable on the end user's side just as long as there is some way for us on the backend to add/delete/import events into the calendar whether it be through .ics (iCal files)/desktop software/via some web interface. We know Google Calendar is around and there is also PHPiCalendar. Are there any other alternatives around?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Here's a pretty cool calendar built on jQuery.

I am trying to make a webpage that looks like the Google Calendar and allows anyone to add/edit/delete any event, working like a notice board.
For now I am using a customized UI to show all the events in my Google Calendar and it works perfectly. But I can't find out how to let anyone access my Google Calendar to post, edit or delete events. I tried AuthSub but it requires user to enter the username and password I provide. I don't want them to enter anything, neither their own Google Accounts nor the public Google Account I provide, except events. Is there any good and free choice to do that?
If you're not completely tied to Google Calendar, you could have a look at Calagator. Originally written specifically for the Portland tech community, it can be adapted fairly easily - my friend did up VanCal.org, which does a similar function. In addition to add / delete / edit, you can import and export events from Google Calendar, iCal, etc.
