remove first few contents from view list drupal7 - drupal-7

I have a content type "Example".
I have 15 contents for that content type.I need to create 2 different views.
1st view.) which will be having the recently added/updated contents(Which I got.)
2nd view.) which needs to be with the rest of 10 contents from the 1st view(In simple words the last updated 10 contents from the content type).

#jsheffers's answer is good if your contents are fixed in number.
In case your total varies it couldn't be used. Also it would make old content show up on top which in many case is not the desired one.
so here is my solution.
Create a view to display five items.
Clone the page/block and enable pager or display all items. Now click to open the extra settings of pager or display all items. Here you would get a field where you could input Offset. You can now give an offset of '5' in here and save.
Pasting below the description of Offset as it appear in admin interface.
The number of items to skip. For example, if this field is 3, the
first 3 items will be skipped and not displayed.
Also attaching a screenshot to make it more clearer.

Step 1
Create a view that lists out the 5 most recently updated pieces of content.
Step 2
Create another view that lists out the 10 mosts recently updated pieces of content, and then switch the sort to desc.
The five most recently updated will show in view one and the other 10 will show in the second view. If you want both views to be on the same page, you could add one of the views to the header of the view you would like to be the main page.

Seperate pages for mapped items in array using React

This question probably has a very obvious answer but how do you map over a list of say, 40 items in an array and show 10 per page, with numbers at the bottom of the page which represent the 4 different pages of the items in the array.
You click the numbers, for example page 2, and you get the next 10 items in the array.
I am using grid and want to display 10 items per page in 2 rows and 5 columns. Do I have to add each page number at the bottom of the page and create click events on each one to load the next ten elements? I know how to split the array into 4 separate ones with splice.
Seems like surely there would be an easier, automated solution.

Combobox in Form Header to search customer stops working when i close the program and reopen

I create the combobox and choose the 3rd option (to choose from a list on my form). The form was based on the customerT (patientT in this case). I tried several different ways the last of which was to create a query with the patientT and a FullNameQ i created to combine last names and first names. the combo box searches great either way til i close access and re open. then i get the error in the pic attached. pic of form with error message
I have also tried creating a search form and using the wildcard function in the query but everytime i enter the formula in the criteria, Access changes LIKE to ALIKE. Is it supposed to do that? i watched 3 diff videos to copy how they created a search form. I dont see their formula adding the A when they click off the field or hit enter.

how to use view ticker in drupal

Does anyone explain me how I can use Views Ticker.I loaded modul but no idea how I should use it.please explain me step by step ,I am new on drupal
thank you.I wanna do somethink like this link
enter link description here
Create a "content type" and name it anything in my own case I will name it "news"
To create a content type, navigate to administration->structure->Content type-> add content type
You can add new fields to the content type if you wish. But in my own case I will just use the default settings, since I need only the titles to appear as flash news headlines so click "save"
Next create a new view and name it anything in my own case I will call it "headlines"
To create a new view navigate to administration->structure->views->add new view,
Now setup the new view with the following attribiutes; {View Name = headlines, show = content, of type = news, sort by = Newest First, create a page = uncheck, display format = Views Ticker, of = Titles (Linked)", use a pager = unchecked, create a block = checked} now click save and exit
Next navigate to Blocks and enable the block we just created through the views. Check for the block name "headlines" and specify the location where you will like to place the newly added block and save.
To enable the block navigate to Administration->Structure->Blocks
Now Navigate to view and select the new view we just added. In my own case it is called "headlines" and make sure "Format" is set to View Ticker, you can customize the settings of the View Tick by click settings.
Next add a news content type using the content type we just created. Add a title, a summary and a content. Then hit save
To add a news content type, navigate to Add content
Tip: Add at least two news contents in other to see the full effect of the view ticker
There is "Some" documentation in the readme file. check it out and see if it fits your requirements, http://drupalcode.org/project/views_ticker.git/blob/refs/heads/7.x-2.x:/README.txt
From first glance it seems like a views plugin so you could probably try changing the dispaly in the views settings.
Yes, you need to create a new View that pulls in some kind of content (i.e. Announcements). Under the "Display Format" when creating the View, you'll see an option of "Views Ticker", if you've installed the module correctly.
Based on the example you pointed to, you'll probably want to create a Block at the same time, that you can insert into the desired region.
Once you've created the View, you'll see a link for the Display Format "Settings". This is where you choose whether to make it scroll horizontally, vertically, speed, etc.
Once you updated and saved the view, you should go Admin > Structure > Blocks and insert your newly-made Views Ticker block into one of the regions (regions available will vary based on your Theme).
Then, as long as your permissions are correct, and you have actual content, you should see the scrolling ticker show up on the page(s) where the block shows up.
To use views ticker, it needs you to have an view which outputs some data.
I assume you have such a view. Then go to that view's edit page and set format to views ticker. You should have enabled views ticker module to get that option to formats list.
Then it will show you the settings window, in which you can set settings such as vertically, horizontally, BBC, etc styles for your data movement and respective speed etc.
After you did, click on apply button and then save button top of the view's edit page.
If all goes well it should display moving contents in the page/block related to that view.

Drupal 7 view custom templates

I have created 1 views which include the 5 types of content types nodes.
What i want to do is customize the view template.
The first 2 stories display in other format like complete title, summary and image
and last 3 stories only title.
How this possible using views.
Or i have to use $view=views_get_view_result() method
You can create the first 2 stories as a regular View (either a page or a block, whichever you want to use) and create the remaining 3 stories as an attachment to the first view.
In the View, you should be able to create an attachment which you can then attach at the end of the first View.
This way, you can have slightly different configurations for each view but still have them in the same View page or block like:
I've posted a lengthier, illustrated step-by-step on my blog at http://nmc-codes.blogspot.ca/2012/10/views-attachment-in-drupal-7.html

Drupal - 7 category/taxonomy with nodes in block

I am new in drupal 7 and I want to create one view blog in which I can list out taxonomy as category and in under that I want to display two articles and a read more link to that category. Can any one explain in details how can i do that.
If you use a content type with a Term reference field for your category, it wil automatically create pages for each category with the articles tagged with that category listed within it.
If you want to have more control over these pages generated by the Taxonomy module, you can turn on the Taxonomy Term example view in de Views UI and add and remove the fields you want to display. The layout of these pages can be edited by creating a custom template file in you themes template folder for the file page--taxonomy.tpl.php.
There you could als create an additional block display (I assume you mean block when you say blog), and in the Page settings area, you can turn on de More link, and this will display a more link when more articles are available then you have set you pager to display (i.e. Use pager - Display a specified number of items - Items per page = 2). Make sure you change de setting from For all displays to This block (override) to not override the other displays.
This block you can place in any region on any page via the Blocks UI and is should do what you want.
