I'm using IntlRateV2 API but can't find a way to get the online rates.
does anyone know if this is possible?
if so, any hint would be helpful.

Is there any way we can compare Gatling report stats with previous execution and compare for any significant degradation?

I have been using Gatling and have been able to cover a lot of simulations for our APIs. But I could not figure out if a given API is being degraded or not.
And the only way is to compare it with previous runs. What all options are there in Gatling through which we can compare a report with the previous run ?
For example -
A given simulation is taking 500 seconds
Previously it was taking 400 seconds
I should know about this degradation up front
Please share if anyone has idea about it.

Method to find API call usage

I am operating in a production environment with a number of different applications using the Amazon API. Of these, some are our own home-grown apps, and others are 3rd party shipping applications.
I have a situation where I am hitting an hourly throttle for the Reports API 'GetReport' request, and I am trying to determine what is causing us to be throttled. By my count, we shouldn't be exceeding ~60 calls per hour at the absolute maximum. (Just a note, while API info says this function call throttles at 60 requests per hour, the exception I received back indicated a cap of 120 requests per hour. Maybe the exception is wrong, and I'm hitting a 60 request cap?)
Is there either an API call to determine current call usage, or a method of accessing this information via Amazon Seller Central / Developers Program? I've done some searching around but everything I can find is describing how the throttling works which isn't my problem.
I am currently using C# Amazon MWS libraries for all function calls, although that information is a bit superfluous. Any insight into the proper API call to use, or how to gain access to this information would be greatly appreciated.
In the response to most calls you get back something like the following in the response.
"x-mws-quota-max"=>"60.0",
"x-mws-quota-remaining"=>"51.0",
"x-mws-quota-resetsOn"=>"2016-03-25T16:00:00.000Z"
You should be able to use this to figure out what is causing you to hit the limit quicker than expected. Perhaps logging out the call and the response with the data above??
Contact MWS Support here and ask for clarification on your issue. They surely know of your usage in order to be able to cap it. I met with the MWS team a few months ago in Detroit and they said any time you have a technical question to ask them. They've been really helpful to me.

How to build a weekly programmable web-based timer?

I am trying to figure out what is the best possible solution to create a website to function as a weekly programmable timer; after searching many hours I keep coming up empty handed.
I tried to start development on a web page. This is where I wound up:

I have a complete lack of knowledge on how to progress from this point.
How do I store the timers?
How do I make the server search for timers.
Then how do I execute a function such as a simple html request when the stored time for that day matches the current time?
This has been a huge stumbling block for me I assumed there would be an open source web based weekly programmable timer somewhere that I could modify but it appears nearly to be not available.
If it is already posted could you provide a link or something anything as I have searched fairly regularly the last couple of weeks with no results using different terms both on google and on stack. Maybe the syntax of my search is wrong somehow and this may be the reason for the lack of results IDK but I could sure use someone who is understanding and willing to level with me on this issue.

What amazon ec2 would be suggested for an ecommerce website with windows and sql server?

We are running an eCommerce venture that has around 2000 unique visitors in a day. The total data is around 6 GB as of now.
We are using SQL Server as our database and in the coming months the website may scale up to 10000 users per day.
From this link deciphered that it would be best to use M1 instance but could anyone help really clueless as to what to purchase from these options.
Note: Our budget is around 170 Dollars PM.

I'd try to fit everything in memory. If you can't due to budget, you need to make sure the disk response times are up to par for your expected load. You application can vary widely. One visit to a homepage could generate many queries, or maybe you have application caching set up - so it's hard for anyone to just tell you. You should also get solid numbers on your peak number of concurrent users so you can plan for that. You don't mention your current environment, but you can get some numbers about CPU, Disk MB Read/Writes/s and memory used to help you get the right size.
I'd look at the xlarge m1. That gives you 15GB of memory to play with. You'll be able to cache all the data you need and have some left over for the OS and also have some room to grow. CPU probably won't be your issue, but be sure to check out your current use.
If you have some time to spend on it, I'd try setting up JMeter to do some load testing and see how many concurrent users you can max out with one of the cheaper options.
This topic may be better suited to ServerFault.
I'd suggest you to check at the reserved instances in heavy category where you can get interesting discounts if you plan to run it for a year or similar.
But with that budget you should be thinking about an m1.medium instance, which might be a little tight for your requirements.

how is Billing for Channel API done?

I've chosen google-app-engine because of its scalability, and now I try to understand how much I will have to pay once I release the product.
I've looked back and forth in the google app engine documentation to find an answer for question and couldn't find. I found few details in the "Quotas" page, I found how much I can get for free and how much is the Billing Default Quota.
In Billing Page there are number for CPU, etc with Resource and Unit and how much it cost. But no where could I find how much will it cost me per channel calls/created, etc.
I can't even try to make calculations with what's in the Admin console, because the current numbers there now are 0 (since there are 2 users which are the programmers).
How can I be ready for the releasing of the product that (hopefully) will have a huge number of channels created daily?
Is there a page I missed, or is there a tool for calculating?

1. Do you think - if needed - that I will be able to get even more quota for the number of channels? I saw there's a special form to ask for more quotas, but I'm not sure that includes the Channel-API feature...
2. Are there any posts you've made for "how to use channel-API efficiently"? I saw some stuff about reusing the tokens per user. Is there more?

Creating a channel costs about 2.7 CPU-seconds. A CPU-hour costs $0.10. So, each channel created costs
(2.7 / 3 600) * $0.10 = $7.5 × 10^-5
So creating 1000 channels will cost $0.075, or 7.5 cents.
You'll also get charged the normal outgoing bandwidth costs for any data sent over a channel.
The CPU cost probably isn't the biggest concern; you're more likely to run into quota caps then running out of money. Paid apps are limited to 86400 channel creations/day (1/second).
