I want to set the MinZoomLevel for a OpenLayers-map with a Zoomify layer. But it doesn't work. It has no effects whether I put it to the map-options or to the layer options. Further it seems to me, that it only works with FixedZoomLayers but I need it with a zoomify-layer.
Got it at
netzwolf.info/kartografie/openlayers/restrictedzoom2.htm
There is a patch to restrict the zoom between a min/max-level and a "hack" for the correct panZoomBar. But it seems that last one doesn't fits for release 2.12.
I've changed it a bit: http://pastebin.com/yuVT0tEF
And here is the Patch: http://pastebin.com/wh9rE3Pv

My Problem is maybe a rather simple one. I want to build up a simple Model of a Flettner Rotor. So it is just a fixed SupportStructure with a Motor/Revolute (fixedBearing) on top, that spins a hollow cylinder around it. At the Bottom there should be a loose fit, which i am not able to model...
On the attached pictures you can see the built up model and an animation of it. It is possible to simulate it without the "RevolutePlanarLoopConstraint".
I have to connect both structures again to model a second loose bearing. Because you have to create a loop, i tried all joints and constraints like "RevolutePlanarloppConstraint". In my opinion it should work ;)
No matter in what combination, i wasnt able to built up this connection. There is always the same error...(picture)
I cannot use the Rotor1D or something else, because i want to replace the bodys with existing discretized beam models later.
I think it is a typical problem of a locational/loose bearing combination, and i hope one of you has maybe a simple solution for it:)
Sadly i dont have the reputation to post images...
Kind regards
Paul
I upgraded my App to AngularJS 1.2 and so also switched to ui-sortable v 1.2.
The sorting is implemented for Accordion-Groups (from ui-bootstrap). With the master-tree version of sortable i could listen to ng-mouseover/ng-mouseleave inside the accordion headers but with the 1.2 version, the mouseevents are only listening as long as i haven't done any sorting. After performing any change to the sortorder, the mouseevents become deaf...
Here's a Plunker: http://plnkr.co/edit/n8yms9pb7uJp77zZ9LFK?p=preview
Can anybody give me some advice how to fix that?
Thank you
Identity Problem.
elementInsertedByDropping !== elementSelectedAndDragged
In the console, one can verify the assertion above. So that narrows down the category of problem to a relatively familiar one.
I'm learning Angular myself, and I'm also having trouble with ui-sortable; please don't regard my opinions as definitive. However, I believe that the problem is that the $watch listeners need to be re-bound to the new element, as it is being created asynchronously outside of Angular.
The "ng.$rootScope.Scope" documentation describes this situation somewhat clearly in the $apply section. If I am correct, you would need to either $scope.$apply(...) code in your controller, or [preferably] write a custom directive that handles the insertion.
Fortunately, it seems that jQuery-ui-sortable's "update" event can be easily used in a custom directive to ensure that the element is bound. I found that bloggers respectTheCode and Michal Ostruszka discuss the problem of writing jQuery-ui-sortable directives in fairly clear terms; so does a fellow named Greg Gigon and several others, but I'm only allowed to offer you two links at this point.
If I can provide more precise information at a later point, I will revise this answer; I'm still learning this stuff myself, and I would like to know how to do something quite similar.
[edit: I'm not familiar enough with Angular-UI-Sortable to know whether this is a bug or simply missing functionality.]
Looks like a bug in ui-sortable.
My guess: It seems to be losing the bindings from the event directives, probably because it's destroying the old DOM elements and creating a new ones without re-attaching the scope with $compile. I'd save this plunk and submit and issue on their GitHub repository
I am using CEF3 and want to hardcode and disable the address bar of the browser. I am not finding the right place in the code base to do the same. Any pointers would be of great help.
Either through the C++ or Javascript methods would help.
Thanks,
Ashwin
Are you using cefclient? I don't think there's a clean way to turn it off in the standard version of cefclient.
However, in the brackets-shell fork of cefclient there's a #define you can use to toggle it on/off cleanly. Just search for references to SHOW_TOOLBAR_UI (it's only used in four files). I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to manually apply those diffs back onto a clean copy of cefclient (you probably don't want to take the brackets-shell fork as-is – it's not very generic).
You can build a CEF application using the binary, just like the WIKI does. Please see the github project for a reference https://github.com/acristoffers/CEF3SimpleSample
I realize this question is old but I had the same question and found the solution.
In the cefclient example, the address bar is drawn within the RootWindowGtk::CreateRootWindow function.
Delete the gtk_container_add function call that adds the GtkToolItem* corresponding to the address bar and the address bar will be gone.
I have a hierarchy of stuff I want to display (at the same time) in both outline view and a custom view. Sort of analagous to the Buck and Yacktman (Cocoa Design Patterns) example in CH. 29, but with Outline instead of Table. I'll most likely have a detail view available also.
I've only used NSTreeController with a single outline view before. Now I have found that "arrangedObjects" aren't what one would like them to be. Also found that (for some reason) all the 'canInsert' and it's relatives have value NO (for some reason I can't find (or find with google)). So so far, it appears that NSTreeController is little help in coordinating my two views. (By the way, I've always had my add, delete functions work directly on the model in the past.)
it seems to me now it would be better and simpler to go back to using a data source approach, and use an architecture more like Buck and Yacktman's figure 29.4 (page 357) with a handmade mediating controller.
This has been hanging around for quite a while with no takers.
Just to close this out:
I've tried both NSTreeController and data source versions. Currently, I'm sticking with data source, since it seems to give me more flexibility.
-- The program I'm working on has been very much experimental, trying a number of different things. A secondary goal is to make an application I will find useful, and ternaryily :-) maybe make a cleaned up version for distribution.
Does someone know a library that I can use to read MP3 tags in Silverlight 3?
In WPF I was using taglib, but obviously I cannot reference it in Silverlight projects.
Taglib doesn't contain any unsafe code. Perhaps you can recompile it (with a few minor alterations maybe) to work in silverlight.
Have you tried just using Taglib's code? There's a decent chance it'll work without too much hassle.
Edit: Yes, I mean TagLib#. I just tried, and there are a few minor issues which were fixable in 15min. (You'll need to define ICloneable, remove a bunch of unnecessary Serialization constructors for exceptions, remove the last parameter on string.Split(char[],int) calls, that's about it.)
Note that unless someone else has fixed it, there's a minor bug in Taglib#'s Id3v2 unsynchronization code. You can ignore it and fail to parse a few id3v2 tags, or you can use the same workaround I did: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593138#c4 - I know, I should submit a patch, but time and all...
