Apologies if I don't explain this well, but I've seen something like this on certain websites (unfortunately can't think of an example right now).
Sometimes if I visit a website for the first time, the site will guide me through the entire document and highlight certain sections e.g., "Use this button here to add a new item" while the rest of the page is greyed out, and then you click Next step which takes you to the next feature, and so on.
It'll be somewhat similar to this (but styled nicer) :
Is there a way (or package) to do this with React?
I believe this feature is called Product Tours
This library can help you - https://github.com/gilbarbara/react-joyride
Also, I found an article using this library on Smashing Magazine - https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2020/08/guide-product-tours-react-apps/
I am really a beginner in ELK stack. I want to learn a plugin building for Kibana. I see their documentation for plugin building (https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/development-plugin-resources.html)
But the thing is, it's not enough for me or I can't understand it properly. I want to customize the Kibana dashboard with some other functionalities I want. I want to build the plugin by ReactJs in front-end. If anybody has any resource or any example codes to share it would be a great help for me. I am using Kibana and ElasticSearch both version 7.4.2
This might be an old question, but since I am facing the same issue, so maybe someone else could use this answer.
I found this presentation by Elastic for how to build you own Kibana plugin, it is an old one, they are working on Kibana 5 I guess, but could be a good starting point for someone.
https://www.elastic.co/elasticon/conf/2016/sf/how-to-build-your-own-kibana-plugins
I have also found this article that is more recent and the author uses ELK 7

I need someone that can explain to me what is Epsilon Framework is all about? I have a friend that just purchased two mobile tempalates at ThemeForest site which is Clean Mobile and Glovebox theme.
So then when i studied his source code, i realize the title on the html page says "Epsilon Framework 2.0" and the script src use the something like "framework.plugins.js". It may be weird but i like the templates has been designed especially for mobile. However, when i search for this framework in google, i don't find any homepage about it and all i found only the demo of this plugin and some non-related stuff.
Therefore, can someone tells me what is this framework really is? The code looks clean and i really want to learn it if possible. If someone ever used these sort of plugins, can you tell me where can i find the docs and is it an open source?
Here's the link towards that mobile template i talked about.
Clean Mobile
GloveBox 3D
Thank you.
I'm trying to include a dashboard in my existing website. I have seen multiple themes and github projects but still not convinced with the right framework/theme to go for my project. I can use themes but that gives me lesser flexibility to change things. At same time, I want to build my dashboard faster.
Can anyone out here please help me how to get this done ?
I found following links on searching through internet. But a bit confused.
https://github.com/rdash/rdash-angular
https://github.com/sdorra/angular-dashboard-framework
http://startbootstrap.com/template-overviews/sb-admin/
There are many more I'm sure....
Open questions:
1. Can anyone give me suggestions about how exactly how can I go with
development to make things faster ?
2. Is there any existing framework for same which can help me in rapid development ?
3. If not, then are there any small node.js packages, then can accomplish smaller tasks for me ?
4. Are there any good tutorials/blogs to go about building basic dashboard? Adding/Removing features can be done later.
Your inputs are welcome.
Thanks
Just downloaded the sencha complete trial as I want to try my hand at mobile apps. I am trying to follow the guide located at http://miamicoder.com/2012/how-to-create-a-sencha-touch-2-app-part-1/ just go get an idea of how everything goes. Right off the bat I am having a problem.
The guide at 'Organizing A Sencha Touch Application In Directories And Files' shows the file structure. Well, I open Sencha Architect and choose to create a new Sencha Touch 2.1.x project. Project Inspector shows nothing similar to what the guide does. Is this guide for an older version or what? I am assuming this is my directory structure, but completely different than what is listed.
Help!
The file structure in that guide does appear to be correct, but of course, I would always trust the product from the creator of the framework over an external guide. Thing is, ST2 let's you put things lots of different places and customize those locations in app.js and app.json. I wouldn't worry about the folder structure if you're going through Architect so much as it will put things where they need to go and it'll include them in your app.js file correctly.
That all said, you may want to check the official Sencha documentation on Architect for any questions like this.
