I am supposed to be making a jeopardy game for my class. I was wondering it there is a template for it already out? Or do I have to make one myself, in which case, what would be the best approach to making this game in Silverlight? (My last resort is to make it in PowerPoint)
No, there is no template such as this today.
You would need to do a great amount of research into game development in Silverlight to be successful, and that information is too involved to fit into a single question like this.

I'm curious, how do you judge when sqlite is not sufficient enough to handle data for a public website, and you realize it's time to use MySQL or something more robust? How do I know sqlite is enough?

BoxedApp http://www.boxedapp.com/boxedappsdk/ is useful to write programs which need virtual or fake file.
I want to know is there any other Library or Component as an alternative to this for free?
The reason that I need such thing is, I have a stream in memory and need it to play. (stream is a film)
any free alternative? (BoxedApp can handle it.)
I know that Microsoft Detours can be alternative to BoxedApp. As for another alternatives - I do not know.
Good luck

With windows 8 demonstrating 'native HTML 5 apps'.
The first thing that I think of is whether WPF has a place in this HTML 5 world. It kind of seems like Silverlight will stick around but I must ask : Where does WPF fit into the bigger picture microsoft is painting ?
All that's been said is that this (and where Silverlight , XNA, and C++ fit in) will be announced at the BUILD conference in September. Lots of rumors and speculation, but no announcements.
It's too early to tell. Just because Microsoft demoed a particular feature doesn't mean it's dropping everything else.

It seems to be that Silverlight is rarely mentioned or seen anywhere on the net these days. Even DotNetRocks rarely give any serious time to discussing this technology other than saying they "love" it.
Silverlight seems to be shifting to a development platform for Microsoft's other products. It currently is a major part of Windows Phone 7, and is rumored to be coming to the XBox360.

Can anyone recommend a site or application that demonstrates various animations for popup windows? I've seen so many smart apps over the years but now can't locate ones with animated popups. Given my zero artistic skills, I'd be happy to borrow other people's ideas.
Thanks
I came across this today,
