I am trying to implement Google Calendar as per the example of sencha https://examples.sencha.com/extjs/6.7.0/examples/calendar/
But I have a lot of difficulty.
After much trial and error, I get the error finding the class 'Ext.layout.Context' which from what I can see is not supported in Ext Modern (I use modern version 6.7).
Has anyone experienced the same mistake, or would you know a way to solve it?
Or another way to implement Google Calendar?

We tried more time to find badges with android using codename one, but I found some comments in stackoverflow is only working on IOS and not working on android, if true so when will it become available on android?.
Thanks in advance
When we created the badge code Android didn't support that UI paradigm. Arguably it still doesn't but some vendors include that functionality with a special API.
Currently the main thing holding this back is that no one asked for it or implemented it. First of all I suggest filing an RFE which will give you a way to track the schedule for adding this. You can add an RFE on http://github.com/codenameone/CodenameOne/issues/
You can also just implement this yourself and submit a pull request as explained in this post: https://www.codenameone.com/blog/how-to-use-the-codename-one-sources.html
This should be relatively easy although you will need to be careful with using the right API level options and might need to use reflection to avoid SDK dependencies which we don't want.
Other than that it's just a matter of interest if we need to implement it. If you have an enterprise account then make sure to let us know through the account of your interest in this feature. We also take pro account requests more seriously when assigning a feature.
I am working with ionic1 and angularjs1 now we are planning to create our new applications with ionic2 is it right choice?? because I have following Queries
I know angular2 is Different from angularjs1 what about ionic1 and ionic2 ?
Is there enough ionic2 support available ?
Can we work with Less typescript knowledge.
Well, to answer all of the three questions, would require a lot of time and would probably lead to more questions. What I can tell you is that:
Ionic2 has support for Angular2, which is in your advantage;
Structure of Ionic2 project is better
You have totally different navigation than from Ionic1.
The Ionic2 support will get better from day to day, so I wouldn't worry about that
Typescript is pretty easy once you get hang of it, I would definitely give it a try.
Also, if you consider building hybrid apps, you can check out React Native
I know this isn't a specific code question, but I have asked in a lot of places and haven't gotten a completely clear answer. I'm hoping SO can help me.
I'm about to start a moderately complicated React Native project for both iOS and Android.
I'm confident the whole app can be built just fine with RN or a mix of RN and native code.
The one thing I want to make 100% sure of before I start, is that there won't be any problems or hangups with any advertisement SDK (tremor media, bright roll, flurry, tap joy, etc, etc).
I'm ok with having to code them in pure native code, so long as there are no conflicts which RN might introduce which would make it flat out incompatible/impossible to have (probably intricate) ad SDK implementations.
Thanks!
I wrote admob wrapper for RN, If you want to admob please check this out: melihmucuk#react-native-admob-sample
If you want to others, you should find wrapper or write yourself.
I’ve been doing some digging on this myself. And here is what I've found so far.
AdMob: Supported and verified
I managed to make this work. In terms of dependency, AdMob requires FireBase. But FireBase does not support React Native out of box. I used a wrapper called React-Native-Firebase to make it work. https://rnfirebase.io/
https://firebase.google.com/
https://dev-yakuza.github.io/en/react-native/react-native-admob/
FB Ads: Supported
I haven’t verified it myself. But it seems to be well documented. (And React Native being related to Facebook, I’d be surprised if it weren’t supported.) https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-fbads
Flurry: NOT supported
Flurry Analytics supports React Native but Flurry Ads do not. Below is message from their support team when I asked them about this.
"Thank you for contacting Flurry Technical Support. We offer a React Native wrapper, however it does not currently support ads, only analytics. You can read more about it here: https://developer.yahoo.com/flurry/docs/integrateflurry/react-native/ "
MoPub: Not really
I’ve found two React Native wrappers. One is old and no longer updated. (The authors seem to be actively monitoring the discussions and replying to queries. But they are no longer providing tech support.) And the other is very new and doesn’t seem to have enough documentation or evidence that it actually works.

I am getting this error on page load itself.
Error: [Ext.extend] Attempting to extend from a class which has not been loaded on the page.
javascript//ext-4.1.1a/ext-all-debug.js
Line 4391
I'm not able to render the page at all. Any ideas?
I have also used extjs4 compatibility for migration.
Are you using all of the resources outlined here, including the screencasts? The videos take a little time commitment, but I think you'll find them quite helpful as they walk through several examples of how to debug exactly these types of issues. Learning to debug effectively will be the best way to tackle this type of migration.
There's no class named 'TreeNodeUI' in ExtJS. If you want treepanel, then you need to extend 'treepanel'. Please have a look at examples given on Sencha website before trying out any code.
Ext JS is a nice framework for web UI, but I found that building and putting stuff together takes a long time and painfully slow.
This might be a general problem when working with JavaScript, but does anybody have any way to speed things up?
What can I use? Better IDE with good JavaScript suppport? GUI designers? Code generators?
I need some way to speed up common things like building grids and forms but yet let me do complex things like creating custom components easily.
I'm using ASP.NET MVC. Coolite seems nice at first, but I feel that I'll be having trouble when creating any custom components later on.
There's always Ext GWT, which lets you use Eclipse tooling (and all of the advantages that gives you, such as refactoring, swift code navigation, etc.) to create your Ext/JavaScript app.
When you download the ExtJs library, you find lot of sample applications for common requirements like Grid panel, forms, form elements etc.
Regarding IDEs, you dont find mature productive tools, but check the below link and wish it could be of help to you
http://www.extjs.com/blog/2008/02/01/ides-plugins-and-tools-for-ext-js-20/
But if you really wish to develop custom components, you need to get through knowledge, start approaching with ExtJs-provided sample apps.
If you want to get faster at anything, practice it until you fully understand how it works and how to make it do what you want. If you are just starting out, why would expect to be able to work as quickly as you do when you are working on something that you are very familiar with?
Things I use to make ExtJS less painful
Chrome, for it's developer tools, or Firefox with Firebug.
snipMate: snippets for Vim, so I can quickly produce boiler plate code for classes.
JSLint as a command line tool. Especially good for detecting rogue commas.
Sencha forums.
ExtJS IRC chat (Server: irc.freenode.net Room: #extjs).
API documentation.
Sencha and Saki's ExtJS examples.
Beer.
ExtJS is building a designer right know so you can look forward it, the only problem I think is not gonna be free.
you can see a video demo there, in term of release date I think this is due to the first quarter of this year.
I say learn the framework. But to develop apps, I use IntelliJ IDEA, which has partial code completion, etc. It costs money though.
Once you have some practice and understanding of how ExtJS works, you'll get faster at it. By using the examples for reference, and building up my application in small pieces, I've gotten much better (and faster) at developing stuff with ExtJS. A great way to get started is to find an example (or two) that kind of do what you need, and modify (or combine) them to see how they work together.
