i am making the MAF application for practice but in this application am giving the functionality of upload and download files from server and but input file component is not giving in the ORACLE MAF and am successfully done the upload button but i am not know how to add input select file component in the MAF. please
help me .
thank you
please answer this question...
For download, you can use this tag into an amx page :
<amx:goLink text="Download" id="bla" url="http://www.yourservlet.com/download"/>
For the upload functionality, I am not sure if that works somehow. Try to follow up this question of the Oracle Community to find out more about the upload functionality.
Hope to be helpful.
Thanks.
I am working on a web application and one of the features I want to add to the application is working with excel within the web app...
the generic idea is basicly : there is an excel file sitting on a server and it can be displayed on the webpage.. people can edit the file and save it back to the server.. (it will have all of the functionality of Excel itself..)..
is there a way to embedd an excel file / any excel plugin exist? or maybe any alternative to excel that will give me the same functionality?
Thank you very much!
*Important - I want to be able to do that on a localhost without a thirdparty like skydrive/google docs or etc... i want their functionality but all within a local host.. (you can edit the sheet, post a save request and it will update the file residing in the server..)
You can use Google Docs. This article explains pretty well, at least, gives
a general idea.
I have come across a requirement that is already available in the current tool and they expect it to be implemented in Spotfire as well.
Requirement: Once data is loaded in Spotfire and they click on a row, there is a button "View in Web" that will render that selected row in a beautiful static HTML page in a new window.
My Logic so far: I'll store the column values in variables using ironpyton as explained in https://techgoje.wordpress.com/2014/12/02/spotfire-ironpython-accessing-column-values-in-script-context/ and then i'll render those values in HTML page
Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated.
I have never tried to open a popup or new window in Spotfire. my guess is that you could do it in the Web Player, but it may not work in the thick client.
I've created an example DXP that shows how IronPython and Javascript can interact to render HTML content in a textarea. this may be a good solution for you.
(NOTE: you will need to trust all of the IP and JS scripts in this document!)

You just have to click on the Download button, as shown in the image:
UPDATE>>>>>>>>
Please note that this is just a library, there no Main application to launch it ! You have just to make a reference to it, and then use it in your own application.
Here is what I found in the readme file:
WPF Dynamic Data Display' is a library of WPF controls for dynamic data visualization.

I want to be able to export the results of a query into excel by someone pressing a button that says export to excel. The following picture shows an example:
I have looked at this WEBSITE which does what I would like to have on my website. The problem is that I have only worked in .cshtml pages and I am really unfamiliar with the process of where to put the codes on that website or what page extensions they should be. Can someone please guide me?
I've written some articles about doing this within the Web Pages framework:
