I'm working on setting up an ArangoDB cluster in an Ubuntu machine based on these instructions :

I keep getting the below error when i execute the first command in the above documentation with sudo. I ensured that all the directories
pointing to in the /etc/arangod.conf file has the required permissions. Please can you let me know if i'm missing something here.
Below is the error i get :
2016-08-23T07:29:52Z [26629] FATAL unable to create database directory: Failed to create directory [agency1] Permission denied
The command passes the database directory on the command line (agency1) and arangodb doesn't seem to have rights to create agency1 in your current working directory.
Either provide a proper working directory on the command line or specify one in the config file.
You need to first change the directory to /var/lib/arangodb3 or whatever data directory you have set and then run the command.

I have Python 3.10.7 with the follwing packgaes installed using pip install in command line:
behave 1.2.6
selenium 4.4.3
These have also been added to the packagelist of the project using the project config in pycharm
Also behave is in the systme path as well along with python.

First check if you have behave and python in the path variables.
Check if you can execute the below command
C:\demo>behave -h
If this does not return a list of help commands associated with behave, this means that behave is not in the path variables
Alternatively, you can check it via cmd using the "PATH" command. This will show you all the entries in the system path
C:\demo>PATH
PATH=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Azure\CLI2\wbin;C:\Program Files\AdoptOpenJDK\jdk-11.0.11.9-hotspot\bin...
If behave or python are not in the path variables, you can set them using
set PATH=%PATH%;c:\PATH_TO_BEHAVE
NOTE: Setting path using cmd is only valid till the time the cmd window is open. Once you close it, the path variable will be rest to original values.
Behave, along with a few other .exe files is sitting in the:
C:\Users\chauhany\AppData\Roaming\Python\Python310\Scripts
As per your instructions #Manish Agarwal, I added the C:\Users\chauhany\AppData\Roaming\Python to the PATH from the command line and re-started the machine. But it didn't help. I then moved the behave.exe from the above location to my python 3.10 directory which is sitting in C:\Program Files\Python310 and python is in the system path, and restarted my machine again.
I then deleted and recreated my project with the new feature file (same directory structure).
If I now run the same command, that is, features\myfeaturefile.feature from
C:\Users\chauhany\PycharmProjects\martechBehaveProject>
I get a FileNotFound error
So I went to the folder where the file is actually sitting that is:
C:\Users\chauhany\PycharmProjects\martechBehaveProject\features\steps> and then re-ran the command and it worked.
I was under the impression that if you have just one feature file you don't have to specify the actual feature file and it can be run from anywhere in your project i.e., from any location which certainly is not correct.
I am using custom Nagios plugins for the first time and am running into this error when I create a service for the plugin.
(No output on stdout) stderr: execvp(/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_load.py, ...) failed. errno is 2: No such file or directory
The plugin works when I run it on the command line, however does not work when it runs within Nagios.

The plugin is in the correct path: /usr/local/nagios/libexec and the resource.cfg file has the same path within it.
I tried two separate plugins, both which work on the command line, and the result is the same error.
The error indicates the file location is incorrect, however the plugin is in the specified directory and runs with no errors within that directory.
I am totally stumped and appreciate any help.
For anyone reading this, I solved the problem.
The first time I added the plugin, I forgot to add the python extension. When I updated the already created plugin, Nagios still threw the error.
Once I completely deleted the plugin and re-created it the 'file not found', error went away.
I faced a similar issue when I was trying to add a custom plugin ( I had custom plugins in ruby and python ).
The issue was the missing shebang line at the start of the script (which determines the script's ability to be executed like a standalone executable).
For example, if you have a python plugin custom-plugin.py then make sure this script has shebang at the start of script #!/usr/bin/env python3. Also if you have other scripts (ruby, bash etc.) make sure to add the appropriate path at the start of your scripts.
Also, check the path for plugins Nagios version. For my setup path was /usr/local/nagios/libexec/ and make sure your custom plugin is executable and has correct ownership permissions.
Sample custom template I used :

The above workaround worked for me.
When I tried to call command-line to get latest update for my TFS mapped folder
TF get /recursive
The call complete successfully from the run window of Windows 7.
However, when I put the call into a .bat file and run it via InvokeProcess within a build definition (guide to do that), it failed.
The message is as below.
Unable to determine the workspace. You may be able to correct this by
running 'tf workspaces /collection:TeamProjectCollectionUrl'
What happens? How can I get around with that?
The reason this is happening is because when you run the command locally, the folder you're downloading is mapped to a workspace. When you execute the command in your build, it's running under the build service account, which doesn't have a workspace mapped for the folder you're specifying.
You shouldn't need to use the tf get command as part of your build. When you configure your build, you can specify which folders should be mapped in the workspace on the "Source Settings" tab. The build process will handle making sure the contents of the folders you map in your workspace are present automatically.
The cause for my issue is that the build agent execute my .bat file under a different Windows account which is something like NTSERVICE; when I run it directly, my TFS login account was used (which was previously remembered in Windows 7 Credential Manager)
So the solution is to put in the login name and password as TF get /login:SomeTFSUsername,SomePassword (see more here)
I need to run Jboss 7 as service.
Followed these steps :-
Copied my Jboss to C:\Program Files <86>
Downloaded Jboss-native-2.0.10-windows-x64-ssl and copied the contenst of bin catalog to %JBOSS_HOME%/bin
Changes done on service.bat as per link instructions

It appears to be windows access issue.
Try the following:
Does the windows ID you are using have Administrator privileges? If no, get a Admin ID else if Yes, proceed to step 2.
Try to do the same but in some other drive (not c: )
UPDATE #1 : OP says he can not see the output of service.bat file
Follow the following steps
Open start menu
Search for "cmd"
Right click "cmd" and run as Administrator
type in following command
cd C:\Program Files \jboss7\bin
Type service.bat and observe the output
On a 2008 Windows Server this occurs because you're not running the command line as an administrator. Those of us who have spent considerable amounts of time on 2003 server, and others before that, keep forgetting that your logged in ADMIN level account does NOT get passed to the command line automatically like with previous versions of Windows.
With any additional errors, past this one, I would keep going back to the service.bat file and looking at the path statements, throughout that file, to ensure that they are all correct to reach what is correct for your installation.
Also, don't forget to create a log folder under standalone (unless you're doing a domain install). Failure to do that will also cause issues as well.

My app is setup under d:/servers/htdocs/myapp
I wrote a test shell under d:/servers/htdocs/myapp/vendor/shells

No, the application directory (holding the config folder) is D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\app\.
Reason is that it is trying to find database.php under 'd:/servers/htdocs/myapp/config/' and the correct path is 'd:/servers/htdocs/myapp/app/config/database.php'
You are in the wrong directory, therefore it can't find your database config.
I wrote a test shell under d:/servers/htdocs/myapp/vendor/shells
Move your shell out of the global vendors folder at D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\vendors\shells to the application's vendors folder at D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\app\vendors\shells instead and try again.
(Note: I'm not actually sure where the global vendors folder should be when you have a setup where the cake and application directories are split from each other, but you definitely have to be in your application directory when running commands and not the myapp directory you're using.)
If you add D:\libs\cake\console\ to your PATH environment variable (remembering to close all cmd.exe processes afterwards) then you will simply be able to execute the following:
D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\app> cake report (from within the application directory)
Otherwise you will need to type the full relative or absolute path to the cake console executable and/or provide CakePHP with the absolute path to the application directory (if you are not in it):
D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\app> ..\..\..\..\libs\cake\console\cake report
D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\app> \libs\cake\console\cake report
D:\libs\cake\console> cake -app D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\app report
D:\> libs\cake\console\cake -app D:\servers\htdocs\myapp\app report
etc...
Hopefully you can see why just adding the correct folder to your PATH makes things a lot easier. :)
Try to run it from within the /app directory or with the -app parameter specified:
cake -app d:/servers/htdocs/myapp/app report

My shell script was under /myapp/vendor/shells which was wrong. It should have been under /myapp/app/vendor/shells. After I moved the file, it worked. Thank you
You should always be in your APP path to execute the cake console.
Your Shell File Should be in ..app/Console/Command/
