I am going to work on the BB Simulator to test the application. I have one jad file
(which is the beta version of my app). What are the necessary things do i need to follow to work it out?
Is there any doc to follow step by step?
Also please let me know that is there any screen shot tool (Except JL Cmder) to capture the screen on the BB Device.
Thanks
Chandra
A JAD file is an information file that goes with the COD file that has the software.
You should be able to get the COD file from the same place you got the JAD.
Open the BlackBerry browser,
enter the web link to the JAD file in there and
your application will be installed on your BlackBerry simulator.
The correct way is going to the emulator, click on the File menu then click on "Load Java Program", select the .jad file and then search the app icon on the menu items.

I've googleing for a while to fix the following problem, but without success. I'm trying to learn to use the app Kinemaster, in my computer (Windows 10) running under the BlueStack emulator.
Apparently, the video I created was successfully exported, but I cannot find it on the computer.
My question is: where is it stored/exported to?
Open your Bluestacks,,,In Home,Library; Click the System apps go to Media Manager, U can find all your exported videos there, and also u can also transfer it to window by clicking the EXPORT TO WINDOWS and Done..
I'm trying to get my html content to download and run in MSWord on mobile using Coldfusion. It currently downloads, runs, and opens correctly on a PC, but when I try to go on a phone it will not open. It downloads but says, "Can't open file."
<cfheader name="Content-Disposition" value="inline; filename=test.docx">
<cfcontent type="application/vnd.word">
I have also tried:
<cfheader name="Content-Disposition" value="inline; filename=test.docx">
<cfcontent type="application/msword">
Does mobile handle HTML to MSWord differently than a desktop?
According to Microsoft's documentation the following are correct for MS Word (as of Office 2007:
.doc: application/msword
.docx: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
For whatever reason, it's possible that even with the correct mime-type, iOS or Android is still seeing the content as HTML.
You might take a look at https://www.docx4java.org/trac/docx4j. Haven't tried myself, but might fit the bill.
I followed these instructions to install Google CourseBuilder. Used Ubuntu via vagrant on a vm. I want to access my course site on my host windows pc since my ubuntu does not have a GUI. To do this it recommended I use the --noauth flag.
It asks for a verification code - where do I get this? See command I ran below:
Notice it says:
Go to the following link in your browser:
https://accounts.google.com....
You have to open that link in your browser(by copying and pasting or by clicking). This will present the Google Account Chooser dialog where you select the Google Account you want to deploy the course builder app with... At the end of the flow you'll be presented with a code which you then copy and paste back in your shell and Enter.
I also experienced some trouble with installation. For anyone having trouble installing Course Builder from any operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.), I made a guide and video which details how to do so:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfNQle_ZxLc
The full text guide is in the YouTube video's description.
From the appengine launcher on Windows, one of the buttons at the top is 'edit'. You can set the external editor in 'preferences'. The default is Wordpad. I wanted to use netbeans, but I can't figure out how to make GAE open netbeans. I have done many searches but I keep getting hits about creating a .exe file in netbeans, which is not what I want. I see no 'netbeans.exe' file. I tried C:\Program Files\NetBeans 7.3.1\platform\core\core.jar but that does nothing. Thank you.
netbeans is a GUI for java SDK. it is not a text editor. it has a text editor somewhere in it, but it is not obvious where and it may not be possible to call the editor alone from outside.
I suggest you start netbeans, edit the file in it and then either launch the project from the launcher or from the command line. no need to compile, as soon as you save the edit, you can re-load the page.
I installed a launcher (syndicateapps ICS 4.0) on my rooted Kindle Fire; like an idiot I ticked 'Set to Default' only to get "The application ICS 4.0 Launcher (process android.process.acore) has stopped unexpectedly".
Force close just loops round to the same screen.
I can access my KF with adb but haven't able to find the file I need to edit which will remove the default.
Advice appreciated.
I had the same issue... here is a solution using a windows machine.
Refer to this link and the back links in the video description to setup the Kindle Fire Utility.
Once installed -- if not already, open kindle Fire Utility folder, you should see a file called 'run' inside. Double click on that file, you should see a command prompt window display.
Type in '7' for going into the 'Extras' options.
From there type in '2' which "Installs Google Apps / Go Launcher.
Once all the packages are installed you will gain access to your home screen to remove the launcher you have and use your fire again.
